5 Simple yet effective tips on SEO!
The lifeblood of any website/blog is Visitors, and every blogger/administrator knows the best type of Visitor/traffic is natural, organic search engine traffic. And the 2 most important point about SE traffic is that
1} it is extremely targeted,
2}It is FREE!
But the hard part is to get your blog on top on Google for a Particular Keyword… or is it? The purpose of writing this article is to provide a few simple, yet effective, and most important, SE friendly strategies to help get your blogs’ SERP and ultimately raise your revenue.
1. Meta Tag Description:-
The first and the foremost thing about SEO is Optimizing Meta Tags,I know that you would have already added meta Tags to your blog. This is great, but I just want to make sure you have optimized it effectively. In this part we would only cover: the “title” tag, and the “description” tag. We will not go deep into the “keywords” tag, as the many search engines like Google and Yahoo don’t give them enough weightage while calculating the Blog rank and even many SE even don’t consider it useful.but I still use it because there is no harm in using it!
As I always read 100’s of blogs daily and have found it effective to use similar text in the “title” and “description” tags, and to place your keywords prominently in these. I have seen blogs with “sitename.com”, “Thankx for visiting blah blah”, or “Welcome to my site” or“Visit again” in the “title” tag, which really is a waste of you title tag.You should always use your Keyword in your title tag
Consider this example:- 2 Blogs,wherein 1 of them displaying “Welcome to Blah Blah Site” and 2nd one is displaying “Tech and money Making blog:Homeforgeeks” with Money making in its Description tag,what do you think that people would search “Welcome to blah blah site” and visit your blog or they would search for “money making blog”?{I think you are the best person to answer this}.
So you should have your Keyword in your “Title” as well as “Description Tag” so that Search engine could identify your blog and send you traffic!
2. Navigational Links on the left:-
Always place your Navigational Link on the Right hand site or at the Bottom of the page as Search Engine crawl your blog from Top Left to Bottom right and if they get only navigational link they may penalize you or you may not get the required juice for your post that you are expecting. So always try to have your main content on the Top left your page so that Spiders can easily crawl your blog and rank you higher!

3. ALT TAGS
Always add alt tags to your images as search engines cannot read you images only thing that they can do is read your Alternate tag and place them accordingly in Google Image search.This also gives you a chance to place additional keyword in your post and increase your keyword density which ultimately leads to higher.Alt tags are easy to make and they can make a big difference in your sites keyword ranking. A simple alt tag looks like this: alt=”put your keyword phrase here.” The best part of adding ALTtags is that Search engine considers this keyword more prominient then any other factor and help you get High SERP.
4.Keywords at the top and bottom:
Try to place your keywords at the bottom of the page too,as Search engines try to rank Posts which has keyword through out the post,so having keyword only at the top of the post wont help your rank high you also need to have Keywords at the bottom of the page. An extremely easy way to have your keywords at the bottom of your page is to include them in the copyright information. For example, if you have a Tech Blog,you could try to have something like this at the bottom of the page:

5. Anchor Text Links:-
Last but not the least is Anchor Text links.Anchor text is linking of your blog with keywords that you define.It is what the user clicks on to navigate to that particular site or page.The more keywords you use for anchor text linking is better for your SERP.Google consider’s 1 Anchor Text link to your blog as 10 Normal link to your blog!.So isn’t it quite handful technique to build quality backlinks to your blog and Gain high Page Rank in Next Page Rank update.The use of this anchor text is that if you build many backlinks to your blog using a Particular keyord like in this case “Money Making Blog” they would consider this as a quality link and rank you site at the top for that particukar Keyword!.
