Delhi Police published notification about the Recruitment for 752 vacancies for Constable (Driver) posts. Out of which 299  vacancies are unreserved, 181 posts for other backward classes (OBC) category, 192 for scheduled cast (SC) category and remaining 80 (eighty) posts are for scheduled tribe (ST) category.

Eligibility Conditions for Delhi Police Vacancy :

Age: As on 1/1/2012 age for unreserved category decided between 21 (twenty one) to 30 (thirty) years. Upper age relaxation available for reserved category candidates under government rules. There is 5 year relaxation for SC/ST category and 3 year relaxation for OBC category.

Educational and other qualification:

Minimum academic qualification for constable (driver) posts is metric (10^th).
Driving license and ability to drive any/heavy vehicles.
In addition, knowledge of maintainable vehicles.

Physical standard:

Minimum height should be 170 centimeters (equal to 5 feet 6 inch). +5 centimeters relaxation for candidates who residents of hill areas and scheduled tribe category.

Chest: Minimum 81 centimeters (equal to 31.89 inches) to 85 centimeters (equal to 33.46 inches) with minimum 4 centimeters expansion. Relaxation for hill areas and scheduled tribe candidates with +5 centimeters.
