About JCECE :

Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board was constituted under Section 85 of Bihar Re-Constituted Act, 2000 by the Govt. vide Memo No. 374 dated 29.03.2001. The Government of Jharkhand has assigned the responsibility of conducting entrance tests for admission into various Institutions in the state. J.C.E.C.E.B. presently organizes the following entrance tests:

• Post Graduate Medical Admission Test (PGMAT) : For entrance into Post Graduate Medical & diploma courses
• Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (JCECE) : For entrance into Engineering, Agriculture, Forestry, MBBS, BDS, B.V.Sc. Degree Courses
• B.Sc. Nursing Entrance Competitive Examination (BscNECE) : For entrance into Basic & Post-Basic Nursing Courses
• Polytechnic Entrance Competitive Examination (PECE) : For entrance into Polytechnic diploma courses
• Industrial Training Institute Entrance Competitive Examination (ITIECE) : For entrance into I.T.I. NCVT / SCVT Courses
• Diploma to Degree Entrance Competitive Examination (DtoDECE) : For entrance into Degree 2nd Year (Lateral Entry)
• Vocational to Diploma Entrance Competitive Examination (VtoDECE) : For entrance into Diploma 2nd Year (Lateral Entry)
• Para-Medical Entrance Competitive Examination (PMECE) : For entrance into Diploma in Pharmacy, ANM & Various Diploma and Certificate Para-Medical Courses

Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board is a self-financed, autonomous incorporated body of State Govt. The Government has constituted the member of Board for taking decisions on policy and organizational matters through Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board Act. 2000.
